Description
“My love of stained glass started as a child. The different colored bud vases on my grandmother’s window sills started it all. It was like window candy! I started making stained glass window pieces in 2000 after taking an adult education class in St. Paul, MN. Then, in 2004, I began metalsmithing while studying fine arts at MSU in Bozeman, MT. Soon after, I brought my love of glass and jewelry together to create a line of beautiful, wearable art.”
Each piece is hand-cut, ground smooth and wrapped in copper foil. A lead-free solder is then flowed over the foil and elements are attached. After cleaning, a black patina can be applied. All pieces are waxed and polished by hand.
