E. Drumm Designs

Elisa Drumm Van Auken of E. Drumm Designs is the daughter of artists Don and Lisa Drumm. She grew up in Akron, Ohio and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Textiles. After graduation she went to work in NY for Gilbert Frank as a textile designer for their Men’s Wear department. Most of their work was for surf wear companies on the West Coast.

After marrying her husband, Jeff, she moved to the Boston area and started her own line of hand printed clothing. Years later, while raising her twins, she turned in her sewing machines for table saws and sanders and began playing around with painting on wood. Today, she wholesales her home decor collection of hand painted items to over 100 galleries across the country.
