Standard Shipping Policy
We ship all products from The Terry Janis Collection using USPS and UPS as our trusted shipping partners. Shipping charges, including a handling fee, are calculated based on item dimensions and weight and will be displayed during checkout. For invoices totaling $100 or less, insurance is included. For orders exceeding this amount, additional insurance charges will apply automatically.
Whenever possible, you may choose between USPS and UPS. However, for items that require extra care in packing and handling, we may recommend UPS as the preferred carrier. Local customers in the Columbus, OH area may select the “Local Pickup” option during checkout to waive shipping charges and arrange a convenient date and time for pickup.
Please note that we ship only within the U.S. and do not offer international shipping at this time.
Special Shipping Instructions
Local Pick-Up: For customers that wish to Pick-Up their items from The Terry Janis Collection location, please call and make arrangements. IMPORTANT! During the Check-Out process, please make sure you check the “Local Pick-Up or Billed Separately” box. No shipping or handling will be calculated or charged to you. If you have not contacted Terry, first, for this special option, it will not be honored.
Third Party Shipping: Products special ordered or products that are shipped directly from third party vendors (artists), will have special shipping charges and drop charges. These special shipping charges will be calculated by the vendors (artists) and billed separately. Please call (614) 235-5445, if you have any questions.
Larger items from third party vendors (artists) may have to ship by truck (determined by size and weight), and will have their own special shipping charges. These special (Truck) shipping charges will be calculated by the vendor (artists) and billed separately.
Returns
Returns must be made within 2 weeks from date of shipping, with authorization. No returns will be accepted without this authorization. No returns on personalized merchandise unless the vendor has made a mistake. In these circumstances you should call Terry Janis, to ask what to do, (614) 235-5445.
Refunds
In the event of a refund, shipping costs will not be refunded. Returned items are at the expense of the buyer, unless the buyer wants to personally drop off the item at the Terry Janis Location. (Exception: special ordering from third party vendors – Call Terry Janis at (614) 235-5445.)
