It all started when….no, seriously, I had been a world traveler and professional illustrator in New York City since 1976. My darling husband moved me in 1990 to upstate NY where I had neither friends nor family, and couldn’t find a job. Needless to say, I was a little bored….I started playing around with polymer clay (I didn’t need fancy equipment) and came up with some designs that reflected my illustration background and my love of color.

I have been back in the NYC area for over 20 some-odd years now. Although I was primarily a designer and illustrator of international postage stamps, I found that designing handcrafted jewelry and colorful home decor items is a welcome departure from the tightly rendered, realistic stamps.
